Bangalore is a Wonderful City of India full of Tourist Places. It is therefore
difficult to see all its attractions in a day. Some of its Beautiful Attractions
are Bangalore Palace, Ulsoor Lake, Government Museum, etc.
Bangalore Palace
Situated at the heart of the City in Palace Gardens and built up by Chamaraja Wodeyar in 1887 it is decorated with fabulous Wood Carvings, Tudor Style Architecture, etc. Constructed on the pattern of Windsor Castle of London it has Fortified Towers, Gothic Windows, etc, to beautify it enormously.
Ulsoor Lake
Situated near the busy M.G. Road and constructed by Kempa Gowda II in 2nd century it spreads over an area of 1.5 sq km dotted with islands. It provides you with plenty of opportunities for Boat Rides and to undertake them you can hire boats from Boat Club.
Government Museum
It is also called State Archeological Museum and it is one of the Oldest Museums of India. Designed by Colonel Sankey and constructed in 1876 it is located at Kasturba Gandhi Road near Cubbon Park. It has Two Exhibition Floors which are further divided into 18 Galleries which in turn have different sections for Geology, Natural History, Sculpture, etc. Its Collection consists of ancient coins, art, relics from Indus Valley Civilization, etc. Some of the Relics that it show-cases are more than 5000 years old.
Also it houses pre-historic artifacts of Neolithic Period, South Indian Jewellery, Fascinating Stones, Inscriptions, Icons, Paintings, etc.
Attarah Kacheri
Located near Bangalore Palace , 2 km from M. G. Road,’Attarah Kacheri’ are Hindi Words which mean ‘Eighteen Offices’. Built with stone and red bricks in Greco-Roman Style of Architecture the construction of the Two Storied Building has been completed in 1864. to house administrative offices. However it now houses the High Court of the State of Karnataka. .It overlooks the ‘Vidhan Soudha’, or the Legislative Tower of Karnataka State. Notable buildings which are located nearby are Public Library, Government Museum, Vishweswaraya Industrial and Technological Museum, etc.

By Air
Bangalore has an International Airport of its own and therefore you can reach here from any part of the globe easily.
By Rail
Bangalore is an Important Railway Junction of India and as such you can reach Bangalore easily by train from any part of India.
By Road
Bangalore has an Excellent Network of Roads and as such there is no difficulty to reach here by road.
